After Gilmour's departure the property was purchased by [a=Trevor Horn] & and the studio fully refurbished as , at the time featuring one of the UK's largest SSL consoles - a 96-channel J Series frame with 80 modules. The manor residency provided 14 bedrooms, a gym and in-house chef. Horn then subsequently purchased 's in 1982 which became .
