Freeze Records

House, hip hop and dancehall record label founded in 1991 by [a=Todd Terry] and [a=Will Socolov] (who had established [l=Fresh Records] and [l=Sleeping Bag Records] in the mid-1980s).
Freeze's label manager and executive producer was [a=Steve Oaklander] aka Steve-O.
Manufactured and distributed early [l=Roc-A-Fella Records] including [a=Jay-Z]'s first album.
The label folded around 1997. Oaklander went on to run [l=Playland Records].
Freeze was revived in January 2013 in collaboration with Dutch label [l=Clone].
