[b]'Kungliga Operan'[/b] (The Royal Opera) has changed its Swedish official name twelve times. Originally named [b]'Kongl. Operan'[/b], after many minor variations on the same theme, the name was changed to at the beginning of the 20th century and remained so for more than three-quarters of a century.
