DJ Spinna

DJ and producer, born and raised in Brooklyn on January 30, 1973.
He began his recording career in 1994 as a member of the underground hip hop group [a=Jigmastas].
Throughout his career, he has broken down musical barriers between the worlds of hip hop, deep house, soul, and jazz working with everyone from [a=Mos Def], [a=Masta Ace], [a=Pharoahe Monch] and [a=Eminem], through [a=Eric Roberson], [a=N'dea Davenport], [a=Mary Mary], and all the way to [a=Stevie Wonder], [a=Roy Ayers], and [a=Sergio Mendes].
He has other notable side projects to his credit such as the [a=Polyrhythm Addicts], [a=The Free Radikalz], and his alter ego [a=Chopp Master Flopp].
