Historical building from 1811 in Paris, France at the address: 2 bis, rue du Conservatoire, Paris, Île-de-France, 75009, France. The building was the site of the [i]Conservatoire de Musique[/i] until 1911 and nowadays houses the . It has two performance halls:
• the concert hall (now [i]Théâtre[/i]), site of the concerts of the [i]Société des Concerts du Conservatoire[/i] from its foundation in 1828 until 1945, when it moved to the [i]Théâtre des Champs-Élysées[/i] (the concerts included the first French performances of Beethoven's Third and Fifth Symphonies in 1828, and the first performance of Hector Berlioz's [i]Symphonie fantastique[/i] in 1830);
• the [i]Salle Louis-Jouvet[/i] (120 places).
