Historical building from 1811 in Paris, France at the address: 2 bis, rue du Conservatoire, Paris, Île-de-France, 75009, France. The building was the site of the Conservatoire de Musique until 1911 and nowadays houses the Conservatoire National Supérieur D'Art Dramatique. It has two performance halls:
• the concert hall (now Théâtre), site of the concerts of the Société des Concerts du Conservatoire from its foundation in 1828 until 1945, when it moved to the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (the concerts included the first French performances of Beethoven's Third and Fifth Symphonies in 1828, and the first performance of Hector Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique in 1830);
• the Salle Louis-Jouvet (120 places).
