Cachet Records

Canadian record label established 1973 in Toronto by former GRT Of Canada Ltd. sales manager Ed LaBuick's record company LaBuick Sound, Inc. Launched in February 1973 along with its sister label British Records. Canadian manufacturing and distribution was handled by Pickwick Records Of Canada Ltd. Australian distribution was handled by Summit Records Australia. US distribution was initially handled by Pickwick. Initially the label lasted until 1974 when LaBuick pivoted focus to launching Tee Vee Records. After the success of Tee Vee Records and Silver Eagle Records the label was relaunched ca. 1978 and a U.S. office was opened.
