Canadian record label established 1973 in Toronto by former [l= GRT Of Canada Ltd.] sales manager [a=Ed LaBuick] at the same time he launched its sister label [l=Cachet Records]. Canadian manufacturing and distribution was handled by [l=Pickwick Records Of Canada Ltd.]. Australian distribution was handled by [l=Summit Records Australia]. US distribution was initially handled by Pickwick. When originally launched in February 1973 the label used a "ribbon" logo similar to Cachet Records. Within a few weeks it was changed to a "Union Jack" logo. In 1974 LaBuick sold the label to its main act, [a=London Bobby] (aka Hugh Robert Smith).
