
Metropolitan Recording Corporation
US Freestyle/House label founded by [a=Jerry R. Salerno] and [a=Vincent J. Politan] in 1988 when they were both undergraduates at Stanford University. In 1991, For almost two years Freestyle disappeared from the world. During this time, Metropolitan Recording Corporation entered into a deal to create a new songs with artist/producer Adam Marano. A compilation later appeared titled "Viper's Freestyle Hit Parade," and more Volumes followed along. Metropolitan Recording Corporation later shut down in early 2009 since [a=Jerry R. Salerno] started working for law instead, but in Mid 2024 [a=Vincent J. Politan] started to start up the label again.
