Japanese record company (ポリドール株式会社), established on October 1, 1971.
Do not enter Polydor K.K. as label but as a company, with roles like 'Manufactured By' or 'Record Company', depending on how they are mentioned on the release.

It was a joint-venture between Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft mbH and Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. and succeeded [l=Nippon Grammophon Co., Ltd.]. The company represented a number of PolyGram labels in Japan, such as DGG, Polydor, Riverside, Verve, MGM, Archiv, and Daybreak but also Stax and Ricordi.
