Luaka Bop

Since its founding by [a=David Byrne] in 1989, [b]Luaka Bop[/b] has introduced [a=Os Mutantes], [a=Shuggie Otis], [a=Tim Maia] and [a=William Onyeabor] to the world at large, and become home to artists including [a=Floating Points], [a=Tom Zé], [a=Javelin], [a=Moreno Veloso], [a=Janka Nabay], [a=Delicate Steve] and [a=Bright Moments], among others. Lived for a time at Warner Bros, Narada/Virgin/EMI, and V2; independent since 2006.
