Partisan

After nasty business with [l=Moving Shadow] in 1997, five key members of staff ([a=Caroline Butler], [a=Simon Colebrooke], [a=Sean O'Keeffe], [a=Paul Rhodes] and Gavin Newman) walked out of the Moving Shadow offices and started their own Partisan label with the backing of [l=One Little Indian]. In 1999, after the [l=One Little Indian] financial crisis, label moved across to the [l=Truelove Music] group of labels for a short spell, only for the same thing to happen again, at which point Partisan called it quits. A successor of sorts, [l=Over/Shadow], was launched in 2020.
