In 1959 Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd. is merged into (with that company becoming the immediate parent), alongside parent (Keith-Prowse-Maurice) is formed in 1960. In 1969 the K.P.M. Music Publishing Group, which Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd. formed part of, was acquired by (EMI) from the Rediffusion Group.

In 1972 ultimate parent acquires Affiliated Music Publishers Ltd. (a UK-based holding company established by Robbins, Feist, Miller and the Francis, Day & Hunter Group), with the K.P.M. Music Publishing Group subsequently being brought under the control of this newly acquired company. Affiliated Music Publishers Ltd. is renamed in 1974.

As of 1978, immediate wholly-owned subsidiaries included: KPM Studios Ltd.- (which was established on the 1st July 1976), , Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd. (New York), , Editions Musicales Peter Maurice SA (France), Expansive Sound Productions Ltd. (dissolved 14th Jan 1978), , Co. Ltd., Forest Hills Music Ltd., Worldwide Music Co. Ltd. - , Television Music Ltd. (dissolved 16th Oct 1977), 50% owned - Marlboro Music Ltd., , , , Garnett Music Ltd., Peter Maurice (Belgolux) Sa (Belgium), Edizioni Musicali Peter Maurice SARL (Italy) and (25%).

On the 1st July 1978, Editions Musicales Peter Maurice SA and a subsidiary of , , were merged into Editions SA, with the company retaining a 26% holding.

The company remains a subsidiary of EMI Music Publishing Ltd. and forms part of the DH Publishing Group.
