KPM Music Ltd.

Production / publishing company, legally incorporated on the 20th May 1960 as K.P.M. Music Ltd. (Current status: Active (dormant) as of 2017).

[b]K[/b]eith [b]P[/b]rowse [b]M[/b]aurice Music Ltd. was formed following the merger of and [l=Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd.] in 1959. Often mistaken as Keith Prowse Music.

In 1969 the K.P.M. Music Publishing Group, which the company and immediate parent Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd. formed part of, was acquired by ([b]EMI[/b]). In 1972 ([b]EMI[/b]) (Formerly known as Electric & Musical Industries Ltd.) acquires Affiliated Music Publishers Ltd. (a UK based holding company), with the K.P.M. Music Publishing Group subsequently being brought under this newly acquired company's control. Affiliated Music Publishers Ltd. is renamed in 1974.

In 1988 the company transfers its 75% ownership in subsidiary to EMI Music Publishing Ltd, subsequently on the 15th March 1989 Peter Maurice Music Co. Ltd. transferred its 99% holding in KPM Music Ltd. to parent EMI Music Publishing Ltd.

As of 2018 the (dormant) company is still an immediate subsidiary of EMI Music Publishing Ltd. and forms part of the DH Publishing Group.
