Cutting Edge
4 releases
Cutting Edge was formed by Avex in December 1993. Initially the focus of the label was releasing foreign artists' releases in Japan, while a sister label New Pulse was to focus on pairing Japanese artists with foreign producers. Eventually, New Pulse was shut down and the mission was consolidated, with a focus more on club sounds. Releases were initially distributed by Toshiba-EMI until the formation of Avex Distribution in 1997.
