Position Chrome
2 releases
Germany
The label started as "Chrome" but then became "Position Chrome", soon after [a=Mathis Mootz] took over its A&R in 1997. (Releases #1-18 use "chrome __" or "chrome__", while #18 onwards use "PC __" or "PC__" for the catalog numbers.)
The releases on Chrome, a division of [l=Mille Plateaux] / [l=Force Inc. Music Works], started out as a freestyle - hip hop - percussion oriented label, but soon made a change towards more hardcore drum & bass.
In 2005 the label was relaunched by [a=Mathis Mootz], after the distributor of the Force Inc. label family EFA Medien went bankrupt in 2004.
