[b]R & T[/b] ("The Record and Tape Company", sometimes known as "RTC") was launched at a cocktail party in May 1973 as part of the "Comunico" music division of the South African media behemoth with Robin Taylor (ex-of and ) at the helm.
Its further history remains unknown at this time but what is known is that parent company [b]Satbel[/b] was sold in 1984 and reorganised.
[b]Notice:[/b] Use this "R & T" label only if its logo/name appears prominently. Sleeves and/or smallprint will most likely always mention "The Record and Tape Company (Pty) Ltd." or even "Satbel Record and Tape Company".
