Hanser Lina Göransson was a soloist in 'Siljanskören' (the Siljan Choir), 's own choir. Göransson made her debut at in 1939 as Santuzza in [b]"Cavalleria Rusticana,"[/b] where she performed alongside . She continued with the role of Tatjana in [b]"Eugene Onegin"[/b] in 1940 and then as Elisabeth in [b]"Tannhäuser"[/b] in 1941, but subsequently declined further engagements. She did not feel comfortable with the atmosphere at . Thereafter, she continued to tour in Sweden, but also in the USA, often accompanied by her husband Erik Göransson on piano.
