American R&B/Disco female vocal group best known for recording the hit song [b]Which Way Is Up[/b] produced by [a=Norman Whitfield] and [a=Mark Davis (2)]. This release was the title track and main theme song from [a=Richard Pryor]'s movie soundtrack for [b]"Which Way Is Up."[/b] And they also included this track on the their self-titled debut album, [i]Stargard[/i], which spent two weeks at 'Number One' on the Billboard R&B charts in February, 1978. Stargard's hit single also peaked at number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts and number twelve on the Disco charts.
