British poet, dramatist, and literary critic, born 26 September 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA and died 4 January 1965 in London, England, UK. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1948 and is considered to be one of the most influential poets of the 20th century.
