Alvin Bennett

American record company executive.
After a career start as sales manager for Dot Records, he join Liberty in 1958,
label that helped to get out of financial difficulties
and of which he was Vice President (1958-1964) and President (1964-1968).
In 1968, after the sale of Liberty to Transamerica Corporation, he founded Cream Records, which absorbed the Hi Recording Corporation in 1977.
His first name is immortalized in 'Alvin', one of the three Chipmunks, named after Liberty executives.
