German mastering and lacquer cutting engineer.
Worked at TELDEC-Studio, Hamburg in cutting room 1 ("Überspielung 1"), from the late 1950s until 1979, usually cutting LPs (but not only).

Important note for identification:
Until 1979, his scribe is a hand-etched "S" or "S-H" or "S-I" or "S-I-H" (with roman numeral I).

Occasionally, he only scribed a roman numeral " I "; in these cases, please credit as "Lacquer Cut By [Runout Etching I]".

Important note to distinguish his cuts from Karl Schick: when the hand-etched "S" appears with roman numeral II (e.g. S-II or S-H-II, etc.), please credit Karl Schick.
