A Liverpool, UK indie and alternative rock band active from the late 1980s to current. Influenced by Mersey Beat and psychedelia, as well as late '80s-'90s groups like [a=The Stone Roses] and [a=Inspiral Carpets]. The Real People are a favorite of [a=Noel Gallagher], who considers their songwriting a major influence on [a=Oasis (2)]. Oasis supported them before they were signed.
