P&P Records

A New York disco label and distribution company.
The label was operated by Peter Brown (President), Robert Brunson (Distribution), Bernard Thomas (A&R), and Tony Tomorrow (Promotion), along with producer Patrick Adams, and Peter Brown's wife Patricia Brown. Its catalog is presently controlled by Phase One Network, an asset management company. See also P&P Record Corp.
P&P is an acronym for Peter Brown & Patricia Brown, however, some early P&P vinyl releases have "P.P. Means Poor People with Potentiality" printed on the labels.
