EMI Music Group Australasia

EMI Music Group Australasia was the umbrella regional division name of and [b]not a label[/b]. (Appears on releases from the early 1980s)

Despite the name, releases attributed to this division were not distributed throughout Australasia. They are Australian and/or New Zealand releases only.
While the default country of release is Australia, these can also be denoted as Australia & New Zealand, or just New Zealand where that information is discernable. New Zealand had its own vinyl pressing plant until 1987 and manufactured many of its own CD releases as well. The two countries often pooled back catalogue stock and some new releases. Country denotation should be ascertained case by case where possible.
