WHTE LBLS
2 releases
Short lived dance music imprint of American Recordings, set up in 1992 by Rick Rubin to introduce contemporary European electronic music to an American audience following a deal with Belgium's Antler-Subway. Largely focused on UK band Messiah and material by Digital Orgasm/Lords of Acid (two acts from Belgian production trio Memnon). Closed in 1995 after it failed to meet its objectives in the face of grunge and the mid-90s popularity of industrial-based American electronic music.
