Volksoper Wien

The Vienna Volksoper (Vienna People's Opera) is a major opera house in Vienna, Austria.
It is home to the Chor Der Wiener Volksoper (chorus) and Wiener Volksopernorchester (orchestra), which includes Streichergruppe Der Wiener Volksoper (strings).

It gives about three hundred performances of twenty-five productions during an annual season running from September through June. This equates to a performance almost every day. In addition to opera, operetta, musicals and ballet, there are special performances and children's programs.
