Sun Records

French label and distributor specialising in experimental jazz, established in 1973.

The man behind the business was one Sébastian Bernard who started by organising concerts in 1968, then circa 1970 became one of the first French importers of free-jazz labels from the UK and Germany like Ogun, Emanem, FMP, etc. Parallel to these activities he established the RCA Victor's Music Center Of The World label, then Sun Records which expanded its activities handling other labels, like: Garou Garou, GRRR, Impro, etc..
