Label started in the early 1960s by Dallas, Texas insurance salesman John Howard Abdnor, Sr., the father of Jon Abdnor of . [a=The Five Americans] were the label's biggest act (their first album was leased to [l=Hanna-Barbera Records] for national release; the lone album by and , featuring two former members of the Five Americans [and the company's final release] was leased to [l=UNI Records] for distribution). The label folded in 1971. The elder Abdnor sold the label's masters to [l=Sundazed Music] in the late 1990s.
