With 22 other official releases during ten years before (from 1997 to 2006), ' Disques' was featuring artists inspired by Jazz, Soul and Funk. At this time, the label's policy was to release a few records a year only, from French 'Rhône-Alpes' country local artists. The label was first distributed by , then by , both French companies.
