Production company formed in May 1963 by Eric Easton and Andrew Loog Oldham. Brian Jones signed a three-year contract with the label on behalf of The Rolling Stones soon afterwards.
The contract awarded Decca's 14% royalites as follows - 8% to Impact Sound and 6% to the band (as manager, Oldham took 25% of this latter 6%). The band took legal action against Oldham and Easton in August 1971, alleging coercion & fraud, over the unfavourable terms of the deal.
