Recording arm of filmmakers [l=Avco Embassy Pictures Corp.], launched in 1969. Artists, producers, songwriters and A&R men [a=Hugo Peretti] and [a=Luigi Creatore], better known as [a=Hugo & Luigi], were the label's Vice Presidents and CFOs. The name was shortened to [l=Avco] in October, 1971.
