Southern California's first theater-in-the-round, the $1.5 million theater was built by producers Sammy Lewis and Danny Dare. Opened with "Annie Get Your Gun" on July 2, 1963. Building bought in 1969 by Rev. Ralph Wilkerson and reopened as the MelodyLand Christian Center. Demolished in 2003.
