Alshire Records

Record company - [b]Not a label![/b] - founded by [a=Al Sherman] in 1964, who bought the Somerset catalog from [a=David L. Miller]. Now defunct, it is also known as [l=Alshire International]. Please use the label as displayed on your release, either [l=Alshire] or [l=A/S Records].

In 1973, Alshire Records established a facility for manufacturing their own product and that of related labels, including a vinyl pressing plant. The firm became an audio CD and DVD duplication company in 1995. In 2006 it was acquired by [l=Reel Picture Productions], LLC from San Diego and has been completely absorbed by the new owners.
