Philophon is a Berlin-based label run by Max Weissenfeldt. Part of Philophon are the "Joy Sound Studios", located in Kumasi / Ghana. The labels essential motivation is to support the "eucosmic paradigm shift" by focusing on any form of local culture with reason, freedom and ludic drive.
Lokalophon was established as a sublabel in late 2019 to release external productions from artists associated with Philophon Records.
