Founded as a LD-manufactured company by Pioneer Corporation in 1981, Japan.
Accompanying the withdrawal of the Pioneer capital from Warner-Pioneer Corporation in 1989, it was renamed to Pioneer LDC, Inc. and music business also was started. In 2003, re-renamed to [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Geneon]Geneon Entertainment Inc.[/url] because of the stock transfer to Dentsu Inc.
