McNally Smith College of Music is an American music college, established in 1985 and located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Formerly known as MusicTech. In 2009, McNally Smith introduced the first nationally accredited diploma program for hip-hop in the United States. Some of the notable faculty members include a legendary underground DJ/producer Freddy Fresh, jazz violinist Randy Sabien (who founded and directed the Jazz Strings department at Berklee College Of Music in 1978–81), hip-hop vocalist Odessa, and a singer/songwriter Jeremy Messersmith.
