CBS Records International

[b]CBS Records International[/b] was the international releasing division of , active from 1962 until 1990. The division was founded by to release its products outside the United States and Canada while avoiding confusion with EMI's , which operated in every market except North America, Spain and Japan.

Columbia's then-owner [l=CBS] later sold this division to [l=Sony Corporation], and it was shut down in 1991 after thirty years of operations.
