In September 1961, (a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercury), was purchased by Consolidated Electronics Industries Corporation as part of the takeover of Mercury (Conelco became the North American Philips Corporation in 1968), which established business under two company names, Richmond Record Pressing and Wayne Printing.

Later became [l=Philips Recording Company, Inc.], in 1970, and [l=PRC Recording Company, Richmond, IN], in 1972.

Vinyl pressings can be identified by an "RR" etched in the runout grooves. Vinyl issues in the series, that have "RFR" etched in the runout area and that have a deep groove in the label area were also pressed there.
