April Orchestra was a “Library Music” series managed by [l=Editions April-Music] in Paris with releases on [l=CBS]. All releases contained licensed or commissioned music by international [l=CBS] artists or by Czechoslovak [l=Supraphon] / [l=Panton] artists. Many releases were actually compilations of previously released tracks or excerpts, or reissues. The series was active between 1974 and 1986.

As very few such library releases have the performers credited on them, please use “[a=Unknown Artist]” as main artist if the performer(s) are unknown or uncertain. Use the release notes to explain. Do not use “[a=Various]” unless there are (or would be) different track performer credits to add. Add composers in the Track Credits as appropriate.
