X-Energy Records
Independent Italo-Disco and Dance label based in Rome and Milan (the latter moved to Lodi), owned by famous club-djs & record producers Alvaro Ugolini & Dario Raimondi Cominesi. For years initially the label only produces 12" vinyls, the first of which was the successful Take Me To The Top by Advanced Chemistry (aka Alvaro & Dario], Eurodance Top Song 1982, followed shorty after by the world hits Happy Station and Color My Love by femal duo Fun Fun. To remember in '90s the planetary success of Saturday Night by Whigfield and 2 Times by Ann Peebles. In the new millennium Tu Es Fotou by In-Grid, several hits by John Garris and to mention some other hit: Satisfaction by Benny Benassi, planetary electro house 2002 and Far L'Amore by Bob Sinclar and Raffaella Carrà, Top Summer Hit 2011. One of the few indie survivors of golden age Italo-Disco, constantly and still bright thanks to the several works and excellent ideas.
