Precision Record Pressing

[i]Note[/i]: do not confuse with the unrelated [l=Precision Record Pressing, Inc.], active the 1960s and '70s. Please do not use this company for releases produced before 2017.

Record pressing plant (20,000 square foot) located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, that officially opened May 11, 2017. It is a joint venture (50-50 ownership) between Canadian company Isotope Music Inc, founded by , and Czech company .

In March 2016, Canadian vinyl broker merged with [l=Precision Record Pressing], becoming their sales and service branch located in Toronto.

Most of cutting and all plating and test pressings production is done at and runout etchings will look very similar to records pressed at [l=GZ Media].

The presence of [l=Precision Record Pressing] ordering identifiers, i.e. a number that begins with 10- followed by five or six digits (example 10-83451), is [b]not enough to determine pressing[/b]. For vinyl records with both [l=GZ Media] and [l=Precision Record Pressing] indicators present in runouts, credit [l=Precision Record Pressing] with "Manufactured By" and credit [l=GZ Media] with "Plated At".

This is true independent of the presence or absence of any "Made in Canada" and/or "Made in Czech Republic" stickers or printing on releases. (Stickers can be listed in the notes section; actually different printing on jackets merits separate releases, but should not be used to derive pressing).
