Castle Music was one of the leading mid-price re-issue labels in the market, covering all genres of popular music from the 1950s onwards. Established by [l=Castle Communications PLC], later being utilised by renamed company . In 2000 Castle Music Ltd. was renamed [l=Sanctuary Records Group Ltd.], with that company continuing to use the imprint to market the vast back catalogues. The imprint continued to be used until circa 2007, however as of 2018 Sanctuary Records Group Ltd. remains the registered rights owner to the trademark (label)
