Improved Record
0 releases
This was a short-lived U.S. record label, produced in 1900 by Eldridge R. Johnson. It was successor to the Consolidated Talking Machine Company's Improved Gram-O-Phone Record, and was replaced by Victor in less than one year. Johnson produced the Improved Record in 7" single-sided format only. The only exception, "A Record for the Children" (A-490/A-491), was a double-sided pressing and is notable for being the very first commercially issued double-sided disc.
