The label was founded by 3070014, and was later taken over by (real name Larry Pavlik).
Early releases had the logo on the label as simply 'Sound' in block text. Later the label was updated to an 'S' logo with a line underneath.
Early releases were distributed by [l=Sound Of Nashville, Inc.], later releases were distributed by both (in New Haven) and (in Detroit).
