Electrosound Los Angeles
West Coast pressing plant, formerly known as , rebranded under this name in January 1985 following the merger of parent company ElectroSound Group with a graphics production firm called IGC, Inc. From that point, pressings were identified by deadwax markings of 'ELA'. The deadwax markings continued to employ the delta numbering system (Δ00000/-X) which had been characteristic of those of Monarch pressings.
The plant finally closed in May 1986.
Note also with record pressings that can be identified by the hand-etched "Emw", "ℰMW" or "ƐMW" in the deadwax area.
