United Phonographs Corporation is the parent company for the record label
In 1922 the label was passed to the ownership of the Bridgeport Die and Machine Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut, which was also the owner of Broadway Records. In 1925 the ownership changed again, to of Port Washington, Wisconsin, the parent company of. Later Puritans were all pressed from Paramount masters. The label was discontinued in 1927.
