Jive Electro
4 releases
Jive sublabel active largely in the 1980s as a platform for electro productions of the Jive production team The Willesden Dodgers. Also released electronic/ambient material by Tangerine Dream, Michael Shreeve, among others. Many releases were not as widespread for their US release as they were in the UK/Europe.
The label was resurrected in the late 1990s (during the "electronica" boom) when Jive issued the initial Old School Vs. New School compilation which featured remixes of older Jive rap releases by newer artists.
