2JJJ Studios

The recording studios of Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio station 2JJJ. Studio numbers that operated here (until 1991) were ABC Studio 210, Sydney, ABC Studio 211 and ABC Studio 221. For recordings made at ABC studios with these numbers before 1 August 1980, please consider using 2JJ Studios.

2JJ or 'Double Jay' was an AM radio station in Sydney that first broadcast on 19 January 1975. It began broadcasting on the FM band and changed its name to 2JJJ or 'Triple J' (as it is still known today) on 1 August 1980.

The radio station and the studios moved to their present site in Ultimo (at the ABC Ultimo Centre on Harris Street) in 1991, from which time studio numbers 210, 211 and 221 were no longer used, and 2JJJ used Studio 227 at the Centre as its recording studio.
