Defunct French music company started in 1999 by Hardcore DJ & producer Laurent Hô, Techno DJ & producer DJ Kraft & Arnaud Frisch.
UWe - which stands for Uncivilized World Entertainment - was started as an extension of Laurent Hô's own label Uncivilized World (1996) in order to host a number of sublabels in varying styles. Laurent parted ways in 2004.
In late 2005, the company / label rebranded itself as Uncivilized World, dropping the "Entertainment" word. However, subsequent releases retained UWe as part of their catalog number and confusion remained regarding the use of the former acronym UWe vs the new name. Stopped releasing in late 2008.
